The Cricket Club The cricket club started in 1999 with informal games between scratch teams, playing on Bank Holiday Mondays. Since then, the enthusiasm of the younger players has seen a huge improvement in the standard of play. And the dedication of the older players and the groundsman, David Corcoran, has meant that for the last few seasons we have had a full programme of matches against other local sides. We have members from Cwmdu and surrounding villages and always welcome new players. Organization is very relaxed; money is collected at matches to pay for the refreshments and raffles are held to raise money for new equipment.
